New study: Cogmed improves attention, learning ability in children born with very low birth weight

Posted: December 17, 2010A new study published December 2011 in The Journal of Pediatrics, examined the efficacy of Cogmed training on children and adolescents who were born preterm with extremely low birth weight (ELBW). The researchers from St. Olav’s University Hospital, concluded that Cogmed was an “effective intervention tool for improving memory and reducing core learning deficits in adolescents born at ELBW”.
