First Cogmed practice in South Africa trained

Working memory in the classroom

Improving fluid intelligence with training on working memory


A recent study performed by researchers at the University of Michigan suggests that there is a strong correlation between the working memory and fluid intelligence. The study showed that intensive working memory training not only lead to improved working memory, but also produced significant improvements in tests designed to measure fluid intelligence.

Training of visuo-spatial working memory improves behavior in kids with ADHD


Chris Lucas, MD, a researcher at New York University, finds that children with ADHD experienced significant benefits after using Cogmed Working Memory training to improve their visuo-spatial working memory.
