Age: 11
Gender: Female
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Background: This young girl, although bright and interactive, had a lot of trouble remembering things. She struggled to follow directions and remember homework assignments. Despite trying really hard in school, these problems spilled over into the classroom as she experienced trouble with reading and spelling, which required her to be taken out of the classroom for special assistance. Unfortunately, these struggles robbed her of her self-esteem.

Key challenges:

  • Had trouble remembering just about anything
  • Could not keep track of homework assignments
  • Teachers said she was never able to spell correctly
  • She received poor grades in school
  • Struggles had a negative effect on her self-esteem

Training outcomes:

  • Began scoring between 85% and 95% consistently on her exams
  • Parents say that she “failed miserably in fifth grade” – but excelled in sixth
  • Her reading teacher is ecstatic at the girl’s improvement
  • Is able to plan events with her friends and coordinate all the details
  • Feels as though she is “on top of the world” – has gained confidence
