Researchers Joshua Gordon, M.D., Ph.D., Joseph Gogos, M.D., Ph.D., Maria Karayiorgou, M.D., and Columbia University colleagues, genetically engineered mice to possess the genetic mutation linked to schizophrenia and tested them for working memory deficits. The findings were published in the April 1, 2010 issue of the journal Nature.
