Pearson announces Cogmed now part of Pearson Clinical Assessment – Linking Intervention to Assessment

Article On Cogmed in Dutch Journal Remediaal

Posted: September 17, 2010 - In September 2010 an article on Cogmed was published in a Dutch Journal for Remedial Teachers (Remediaal). The training itself, the coaching procedures and research results were presented extensively by a Dutch Cogmed Coach (Clemens Nijenkamp).

Torkel Klingberg published in “Trends in Cognitive Sciences”

Posted: July 23rd, 2010 - The most recent issue of the journal, Trends in Cognitive Sciences featured an article written by Torkel Klingberg M.D. Ph.D., titled Training and Plasticity of Working Memory. The article provides an overview of the understanding of the role of working memory, its demonstrated plasticity, and the rationale and feasibility of improving it through training.

American Academy of Pediatrics recognizes Working Memory Training as Good Evidence-based intervention for ADHD

The Academy represents America’s 60,000 pediatricians and provides them with guidelines to help them better serve their young patients. Harvard study suggests Cogmed useful in school setting

Cogmed partners with team in Colombia

Posted: February 17, 2010 – Cogmed has signed on for the first time with a team in Colombia. Karen Halliday trained to become a Cogmed Qualified Practitioner in February 2010 and has a practice located in Bogotà.

Cogmed now represented in Mexico

Posted: December 8, 2009 – Cogmed has trained its first team in Mexico. Dr. Luis Antonio Barragan signed on with Cogmed in December of 2009 and has a practice located in Mexico City.
