About Working Memory
Working Memory is essential for attention and focus
Working memory is our ability to hold information in mind and to use that information in our thinking to perform tasks.
There is a direct correlation between our ability to process the new, immediate things that we encounter and our ability to effectively understand those things and make proper decisions.
When working memory capacity is constrained, the ability to process new information is inhibited. This creates a disconnect between knowing what to do, and actually doing the right thing.
