Training program used in research: Cogmed RM

Status: Ongoing

Recent research has indicated that academic performance is comparatively lower in students who score highly on ADHD self-report questionnaires than students who score in the normal range on the same measures. Research with children has shown that the working memory deficits that typically accompany inattention and poor academic attainment can be ameliorated by targeted online working memory training. The current project is designed to ascertain whether this intervention can successfully improve the academic performance of undergraduate students who have been identified as having ADHD-like symptoms.
