
Specializing in the assessment and treatment of ADHD and adolescents for over twenty years has provided Bill a wealth of knowledge and experience. Currently, he is founder and director of Adolescent Counseling Specialists of Columbus, quite possibly the largest adolescent specialty practice in the state. He is, in addition, an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at The Ohio State University. Bill is a member of CHADD.
Bill attended The Ohio State University, graduating in 1975. He then attended OSU’s APA-approved counseling psychology graduate program and after completing an APA-approved clinical internship in Wichita, Kansas, Bill received his PhD in 1979.
Valued for his practical wisdom, as well as his clinical experience, he has given workshops on adolescents and ADHD, both locally and internationally.
Bill has appeared on CNN and TV France 2. His publications are numerous, including A Parent’s Guide to Teenage Problems, A Teacher’s Guide to Recognizing Psychological and Behavioral Problems of Students, and many professional articles. Bill is married and has two daughters.
