Study finds evidence of “chemo brain” – poor attention/memory following chemotherapy


Posted: November 16, 2011 - A recent study showed that breast cancer survivors who underwent chemotherapy have reduced activity in areas of the prefrontal cortex that supports working memory, cognitive control, monitoring, and executive function.
