Posted: November 19, 2008 – Cogmed has signed on for the first time with a team in Kuwait. Dr. Fatma Al-Awadi trained with Cogmed in November 2008 and has a practice located in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

Strong working memory curbs daydreaming


A team of researchers led by Michael Kane, Professor of Psychology at the University of North Carolina, examined how well 124 college students were able to control their focus keep their mind from wondering. The findings indicate that working memory capacity is the ability that determined how easily students resisted or succumbed to distractions.

Researchers present on working memory training at AACAP meeting


Researchers from the University of Toronto, Queens College, Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and the Karolinska Institute presented on Cogmed Working Memory Training at the 2008 Meeting of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
