Impact of computerized cognitive training on working memory, fluid intelligence, and science achievement


A team of Stanford researchers investigated the impact of working memory training on middle school students with healthy working memory. Findings reveal that the students substantially improved working memory capacities. Science tests immediately after the training show that the improvements had not yet transferred to higher scores, though the researchers indicate that such gains may become visible over time.
